Mireim is a Maryland-based multidisciplinary artist, educator, and public health professional whose work explores the intersections of cultural identity, mental health, and personal narrative. Born in Iraq and raised in Maryland, she draws from her bicultural experience to challenge misconceptions about Arab culture and to celebrate the richness of her heritage.
Through layered symbolism and a diverse range of mediums, Mireim creates pieces that reflect the collision and coexistence of her two worlds. Her work aims to bridge cultures, foster understanding, and offer a space for reflection and connection.
